error on Import items

Hi,

if i import my fleximigrate.zip in new joomla 2.5.7 and latest fleximigrate, there are some error messages (you can see on attached file) and NO items are imported

.

By steps Import items, Import items additional informations, Import releases datas there are messages like:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/htdocs/xxx/administrator/components/com_fleximigrate/classes/helper.php on line 443

Hi,

I understand the problem. I imagine you have further categories linked on an item, and the problem come from that the old id for a category is the same id than another category allready linked on this item (a little difficult to explain... sry)
For the moment the best way it's no correct it manually in the item imported, take the id of the item ("duplicate entry for xxx-yyy" yyy = item id). And go into your article to correct the problem. If you have no too many items, it s the best way to solve the problem.

thanks for your reply.

the problem is, there are not any items imported (only catgeories ...). The red message with "duplicate entry" are not show again after retrying to import ... but the black errors with "Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" are always shown and still no items are imported.

You have this errors because it seems you xml file is corrupted (flexicontent_items_ext.xml and content.xml). Can you try to export new datas and import them after on a new empty platform.

hm, i dont know but the files seems (for me) to be ok.

there are a lots of items saved with this structure (content.xml):

Can you attach the fleximigrate.zip, i need to test. Because i don't understand the origin of the problem.

ok, i had illegal characters (non SGML character) in 2 description text. perhaps during copy text from pdf ... After editing, it works
